I have a request, instead of looking at them as wife and husband, where husband is expected to be by his wife side. I request you to look at them as 2 individuals who have got into a situation for which both aren't prepared mentally. S*X brings two people closer than anything else because each get to share the aspect of themselves which is totally an unexplored territory for them even personally. So, first time when it happens it'll have a lot of emotional baggage attached to it like shame, chagrin pity etc. Especially in unprepared circumstances like theirs. The pleasure aspect always takes time to sync in because shame, sorrow etc are the most dominant emotions over joy, pleasure, happiness etc. To support this a simple example is: A mum who lost her child in a fair would show her anger and sorrow the minute she finds them instead of the joy of finding them.
Similarly murtasim was in his own state of shame he could see himself in the mirror briefly and the minute he realised he could have controlled, the reminder that he couldn't keep his promise, made him shatter the mirror because it was difficult for him to see his face anymore.
This scene very well portrays that he wanted it but not this way. How can he provide her comfort when he's not comfortable to face himself. Believe me in such situations people can feel like hiding themselves in the darkest possible corner, hence he ran away giving her space to process.
Similarly Meerab couldn't even see herself in the mirror meaning, she hasn't even reached the stage of reflection or taking stock of the situation. So she's beyond gobsmacked at her own behaviour.
Summary is they both are drowned in self-guilt because both consider themselves, powerful enough to avert the situation but destiny and their emotions have made a mockery of their strength and as such it's only valid to let time heal them to let reality dawn upon them both that they can't live without each other. It's as true as they have their own set of imperfections they have to live with.
Even in a fake story that murtasim created to scare meerub jinn bhoot wala...he was still being next to meerub as she feel scared when murtasim know its was fake.

. Good morning everyone .. do you think Meerab will study law during her pregnancy ? Meesam will come nine months from now so I was just wondering if Meerab will pursue law or will it happen after Meerasim unite ….there is another leap where 4-5 year old Meesam is sitting on a office chair ….I think that might be the leap ( in last episode) where they show Meerab as a lawyer .
