Yep I relate. PHs and TRP maniacs never understand one basic thing. Audience invest their precious time in these characters. We perceive these characters through our lens of experience. They become ours in a way. Based on Murtasim's and Meerab's respective character graphs, it makes absolutely no sense for either MR or angry makeout session to happen. I consider these as cheap thrills inserted by a mad writer and creative team to generate hype. We have been cheated. It will take time but we will get over it. As for me, I am staying away from such a cheap channel which approved such a cheap script. My apologies if I am offending anyone but I will not try to sugar-coat the situation to justify Murtasim in any way. I loved the character.

Marital rape cannot be normalised .But there is a whole audience out there that just watches fiction for fiction and doesn't apply things in real life.

The real reason that everyone is so upset is everyone fell in love with leads and these two episodes have destroyed everything the audience wanted for the leads.

Like someone pointed out regarding Kabir Singh.(i dint watch it because it dint appeal to me)if you don't agree move on..or else take what been shown and find closure.

Sometimes in a love story ,love is not enough...sometimes forgiveness can give you a fresh start...

I agree with what you have written. I would rather they show the eps as they are.

Even if I watch from a fictional perspective, I still feel cheated due to what happened. I also agree about moving on. But if ever MR happened, then I cannot accept forgiveness here. Better for Murtasim and Meerab to go separate ways then.

Lots of changes to script happen onset:

Siraj the director said there were many parts of the script they did not film, were unfilmable.

On set bohat scene bana lete hain

The CS excuse we got could have been incorporated at the time of shooting and acted accordingly

As for Wahaj not reading the script. I don't buy it. He is a self-confessed control freak and very detail oriented. He would've read the script - very likely thought it was tatti. But he wanted to work with YZ and this would have been his first ML role in the 8 PM slot - so he was going to do the project anyway. If he said he read it, he would have to give his opinion and justify why he took this role. Bro patli galee se nikal gaya.

Suppose script padha nahin. But narration main to bataya hi hoga keh rape hai. Tab nahi click hua!!!!

Yes I think initially it was a dark story. Yumna is used to it! She likes challenging role

however for wahaj probably was too dark! So he made this changes and the character turned out to be a lover boy instead we see Serious Alpha! Who has sensitive nature.

Also nooran couldn’t justify to the darkness top of it it’s a Pakistani telly! You can not be true to the character if it was written like that.

however they forgot the main twist is too dark and it didn’t match to what changes they made.

I still think they must have changed all the Rape scene and it wasn’t Mr! Bcs look at murtasam reaction in episode 48!

but yes I think this character experience was similar to yumna and wahaj previous project and she was like yep he can do it!

they both must have read the script as yumna never signs without reading. She is picky and so is wahaj.

They know everything and their chemistry just was unexpected and boom!

man’s yep we can see wahaj wanted to work with yumna as for past 3 years in his interview all he spoke about working with yumna
