Great thread. Very compelling write-up. If Nooran intended all this and planned for a non-happy ending, this would’ve been a brilliant story and maybe it still is. Time will tell
I just can’t decide if she is twisted and on “sasta nasha “ or just a brilliant writer. She is giving out plenty of good messages about the negatives of strict parenting (MB), starting relationships on honesty (Marium), accepting, patient men (Naurez, who btw has started off way better than Murtasim) and yet she is the same one saying contract breach will be fun when she knew MR was either done or insinuated. She also talked about how mistakes are forgiven in love which is scary and suggests that she will make her FL forgive the ML for this “mistake” called rape
all in all kya jhatka tha. I’m still reeling
The ost is now haunting. I'm going back on my words. It's beautiful. The lyrics. I still don't like his voice though 😆
I'm also loving the fact that majority of the fans, viewers and critics (apart from fan pages who are anyways delusional and rabbid) are not buying the edit or the original.
They had more than 3 months to redo this. TB reached new heights in mid Feb.
This silly voiceover and edit is now letting the producers go scotch free. They're like you don't like it because it doesn't make sense well then it's your fault for crying . You get this. Where action, emotion, scenes don't match monologues at all.
But showing MR would end murtasim.
They put the blame on viewers when this is their fault to Begin with. Why would you have someone like murtasim do MR if you can't build him up a little like that.
I really need to see what they actually had in mind to understand what's going on. I hope they release all uncut versions once the drama is over.
I am talking about her not forgiving Waqas and Anila. With Murtasim, it is different. She herself is not sure what her feelings are for Murtasim. At first she didn't like him and she was sure of it. But with time she saw the side of Murtasim which she has never seen before. She started falling for him unknowingly. But at the same time, like someone said if she accepts Murtasim then it is like accepting her forced marriage is right. It is the fight between her heart and her mind. The day she realizes that she loves Murtasim then there is no question of unforgiving……. In Bold…. That day will come soon 👍🏼
Haya has become dangerous but never due to murtasim lineance but because of meerab's unwillingness to accept meerasim marital union. IMO if miya biwi dono raazi tho kya hi karein kaazi. Today even Naurez implied at being betrayed by Haya but never took her name, it means she's insignificant when compared to the other household members and haya's only slightly above the servant maids of the house. Haya is a catalyst and at most a distraction from the nuisance in meerasim life. The most dangerous thing has been meerab's inability to accept murtasim's love and owning it upto it fully ever, despite taking pride in having the awareness of its presence.
This is why murtism doesn’t give a damn... haya should be punished but problems will crop up in their marriage even without her
Also I felt yesterday a martial rape was never in script.. what do u think?

Meerab once said ... loag aankhon ki thandak ko muhabbat samajh laitay hain. Ab samajh aaraha hai what she meant.
That whole muhabbat and ishq conversation also further adds to the above statement!
Ishq ab Meerab karay gi unfortunately! Apparently forgiving MR was all part of that ishq!

Great analysis. There are few things I disagree to. Yes, Murtasim is a morally right guy mostly with anger issues. But also he does have a good heart. But it's very very tricky. We make choices in a moment and they do rightfully define who we are... especially if we have steps and choices to stop, change or turn back
