This is exactly what I think happened. They wanted it to look like MR. They would clarify it later and the reveal would be so far from the their initial reaction scene that we would buy it especially because we would be so relieved. It happens all the time in shows when they reveal something that you thought was something else, we tend to forgive an overreaction in the original scene. Them having to reveal it right away during the scene is why people are more confused. It wasn’t how it was supposed to play out. I’m so glad they didn’t continue that way. I’m still hoping for a flashback scene in the bedroom but I don’t think we’re going to get it especially if they filmed it with there being any type of aggression from Murtasim’s side.Originally posted by: annihilation
Yes, gotta agree. The evidence towards a no MR originally in the plot is higher than that of a MR in the plot. The likelihood of the move being a cheap publicity stunt to garner as many as views and ratings is definitely high. So, yep, their strategy failed royally. Kinda glad (keeping the damage it caused aside) because it teaches the channel and show makers to me more mindful of their audiences and not take them, their dedication and their power bring about a change for granted.
