Consensual sex does not mean a sexual assault because it involves both parties consent. The circumstances here weren't ideal which is what both Meerub and Murtasim regret and are guilty about. Because they engaged in, in other simpler words, angry sex. That's not how they wanted to consummate their marriage and for reasons best know to them, they still ended up doing it that way.

Or did Nooran and team include it while the show had started shooting and episodes were on air? 🤔 Because if it always going to include an MR, any actor, writer or directors interviews (haven't seen any offscreen/interviews stuff) praising Murtasim to skies makes no sense...or they're all just twisted in their heads because let's not forget, MR is a reality and we have a great chunk of population all across the world that still believes MR is normal, common, reasonable, justified or worthy of being forgiven, for whatever reasons of their own.

You seem to have a grudge against the section of audience that recognises the fact that Nooran has always written Meerub poorly and did her own female lead such injustice. All the while not recognising the fact that, that section of audience can't do anything about it if the writer herself hates one of her own character so much.

Problem kya hain, sir/ma'am? I take peace in the fact that a female character wasn't raped and she had complete agency and autonomy over when she chose to have sex and who she offered herself to and why. Angry sex is neither shameful (when happening with consent of both parties) nor horrifying and brutal as rape. So, it's beyond me as to why you would want Meerub to be the victim of such a henious crime just so that Murtasim can be labelled a rapist. 😕

We can't be sure because they've repeated character's clothes a few times, no? Assuming that interview of hers was post separation period and an MR was included in the original plot, then if the actors were aware, it must have been made to sound justified or reasonable (remember the situation ka reaction nonsense) then I'm guessing, despite their own personal reservations or objections, both Yumna and Wajah couldn't have possibly done anything about it. They're committed to the project, they would have had to do whatever is asked of them. Ofcourse, those two would have suffered the repercussions and they already have in some measure because just one promo made the fandom go berserk on them 😆 imagine the reputation ki dhajjia udh jaana had they gone ahead with it despite the backlash, esp after giving such interviews.

If an MR was not included at all and this whole fiasco was just a cheap publicity stunt to grab as many as eyeballs as they could, toh phir toh kya kehne. Also, if it wasn't shot in the MR-ish way then every event after that would have to undergo so many changes now. How are they going to shoot new scenes/episodes now that the shooting is completely done and actors must have moved onto to their next set of projects and commitments?

I have a feeling they'll do some really horrible patch up work again.
