I read the comments and still, like a fool, went and watched the episode. The heights of awkwardness !!!
I liked Ak opening up to Nav about her fears and how now that they are back, she feels better. The whole setting up the bed scene was soo cringe! Why does Nav look so creepy? I am really trying hard not to have any bias, but in this situation, it is hard. Ak's singing just felt hollow, she had almost no expressions on her face. I don't know what she is thinking at all ! But for everyone who thinks actions speak louder than words, she has proven today that she is entirely completely over Abhi.
The one statement that Abhinav gave was super weird too. He said even her khamoshi is sureli for him. So basically, he is trying not to force her into any uncomfortable situation. I get that and appreciate it. But Ak just looked at him for a few seconds, and then once he turned, started singing. I guess they are now exploring her not singing for the past six years part and she is healing now.
As to what they are doing wrt Abhi and Abhir, god alone knows. I have mentioned this before, but IMO Ak is not a good mother. She has always been irresponsible and self-righteous, which makes it worse. And the way they are acting right now with the school fees and opening a new business and stuff, I am sure they plan to stay for a long while. I am glad Abhi is re-opening the custody battle cause he legit won't get any rights if he doesn't. But I think this track is for Abhi to be misguided by Manjari and him finally realizing it. So yet again, Abhi will be wrong and be blamed for overreacting. To top it off, Abhir will likely be mean to him too, and will further break him. How much can a character take, honestly? Also, for everyone who thought Abhi listens to Arohi, nope, he doesn't, every time the writing needs misunderstandings, Abhi just stops listening to everyone.
I am just so done with this show demeaning Abhi's character. Like if they want him to do bad stuff and be the villain, show him have some bad motivations. How can we hate him when he is being extremely nice to everyone and just trying to manage a really difficult situation? How can we empathize with Ak when most of the time, she is responsible for difficult situations and her motivations are unclear or plain stupid at best?
As to Akshnav's relationship, can they confess honestly? So we can get on with it. This weird coyness and fumbling flirtations are getting annoying. Maybe some people like them, but I much rather prefer Abhi's bluntness and grand gestures.
