Murtasim was also in a fit of rage and instead of stopping her because she was clearly disturbed, thought the worst about him, and hasn’t even told him she has feelings for him but he let his ego get in the way and went ahead. I’m saying ego because she definitely hurt his ego with the slap, spit and bringing up of the contract while doubting his entire character. They are not in a good place in their relationship and they gave in for the wrong reasons. I’m guessing that’s what they were trying to say through their monologues. I wish we got a cute moment instead but this is what we have to deal with. I really wish Murtasim talked and comforted Meerab instead letting his guilt get the best of him and taking off.

thats exactly how i feel it happened. It was clash of egos and anger. They did not do it out of love. And him walking away after makes her feel like she was not worth it. I think this is where the female ost also comes in.. as in she gave herself to him and he walks away. Of course this is AGAIN another MU cause THESE TWO DO NOT TALK!!!.

From today onwards, in my head, the gajra scene leads to contract breach.

  • The loads of flowers in the room have a SR bedroom vibe.
  • MK's "Can I" is him asking for her consent to move forward
  • He puts on gajras on her. He calls her beautiful. He caresses her hands, raises them, and presses them again his heart. He looks at her with desire and longing in his eyes.
  • She is shy but receptive and aroused, her eyes downcast, her lips parted
  • Merub's consent is implied when she slowly raises her downcast eyes and gives him that coy smile.
  • Cut to black.
  • Contract breach happens off-screen.

Incidentally, that gajra scene was also where I felt Merub was the most responsive to and aroused by MK's romantic attention.

couldn’t have said it better myself. What started out as a beautiful journey has devolved into third party interference with the side characters getting more screen time and the writer has lost the plot. Literally and figuratively. The only reason it got huge ratings was because of the leads. But what ITV has shown time and again is no amount of chemistry can save a show where there isn’t proper development or where one character gets sacrificed to prop another. Meerab is difficult but she gets thrown under the bus repeatedly by the writer to prop MK even when she has is right.

By the way love your pic and username. Arshi will always be my number 1.

The show has been ruined because of the writer and makers but their chemistry will forever be remembered ❤️

TBH, the whole not sleeping after being married for 8 months never made sense, not after that much sexual tension and flirty romance going on between the two. Logically, in real world, these two people would have definitely made out.

He said that because it was MR.

To me he is the villian and was shot as such.

I'm having a rough time letting go of my logic

Oh the endless possibilities… so many situations where Meerab couldn’ve confessed when Murtasim solidly stood by her and took a stance for her MULTIPLE times!!.. but no… NM wanted a khatarnak masaledar dhamakedar twist … lo bhai … aisi twist ke Nooran baaji ke gale hi twist kar dene ka man kar raha hai ab to …by god … itni wahiyat writing 🙇🏻‍♀️ can’t get over it yaar … so messed up it is! Such a wonderful premise set and then just dumped the whole thing down the sewage. It’s left such a horrible taste in the mouth .. that don’t enjoy watching their previous romantic scrnes(from Tere bin anymore ) I’d rather watch a DnUTN if I wanted my daily dose of YumHaj.. hadh kardi 😭

47th got to be THE worst episode of TB

Even episodes with 75% Pineapple Anas, Tight Pants seem better in comparison!

The damn contract, with so many fantasies attached to it, is finally breached and what was supposed to be the biggest highlight of the show turned out to be a super soggy, no masala 2 min Maggie noodle side show! Everything was painful... direction, setup, editing, monologues 🥱

MK had first time jitters or not pata nahin, but director definitely had performance anxiety... what rukha-sukha-phika bakwas sequence!

No build up, no trying to resolve the misunderstanding, no dialogues... bas Slap-Spit-HoneyIAmIn!?

MR or not, the whole thing was so bizzare! Nothing made sense, neither the deed, nor the aftermath...

Jewelry neatly kept on the duptatta on the bed😳

Meerab sitting on the floor crying😳

MK in the bathroom doing tod phod in shiny shoes with tight laces on... Kapde na sahi, shoes utar diye the aisa bhi nahin dikha sakte?! 😳

Haya trying to figure out why no noise is coming from the room... arre window ke paas hi bitha dete watching the whole show 😳

Contract breach turned out to be a real nightmare!

Don't know from what angle the write thought ki hume maza aayega! This was a certified torture!

M&M suddenly seem totally uninspiring! At this point Maryum-Naurez future lovestory looks more promising. Sigh...

Biggest insult is to Meerab. She said No to him a thousand times. Even after episode 20.

But the female fans were desperate to see her f#$@ him at any cost. They were wanting her agreeableness as the end goal

But this was shot as MR clearly clearly

I'm shocked people think it's regret or anger.

Look at his reaction.

Look at her halat.

The writer and Marie who gives direction for scenes admitted.

I'm frightened by people denying what they see by their own eyes more than murtasim doing MR.

People are scary.

They didn't go ahead with what I also think was the original plot/track because of the backlash, protests and critisism they faced all over the social media. I mean, I'm not active on Twitter but from what I've heard post episode 46, the internet blew up. With that kind of negative publicity they had garnered, I think the entire team's, writers, directors, actors, everyones credibility and integrity was at stake. If the channel was planning any future projects with these two actors, writers or directors, etc, going ahead could also have had an impact on those projects since audience would have been extremely put off by what they did in TR.

I'm sure that *if* MR was indeed included the script from the moment get go and they had always planned to execute it then for some godforsaken reason, they probably had already also rationalised or justified the act in their heads and would have thrown at us some ridiculous explanation with a sense of unfathomable audacity that it is "okay/normal/common/justified" for rape to take place in a marriage, esp for people coming from so and so stature, status or background and it is expected from characters whose template is of Murtasim Khan's kind.

I believe Murtasim's character has undergone massive and multiple changes throughout the course of the show. I don't think they initially intended to make Murtasim such a kind of a man, you know, the 'every girl would want a husband like him' kind. He was probably supposed to be extremely problematic and aggressive to the core. I'm not exactly sure as to how many factors played a role into making Murtasim the kind of a character we all fell in love with but I'm guessing, Yumna and Wahaj's pair/characters love story garnered such interest and strong fanbase that they had to cash in on their pairing and chemistry.

And now when they've backtracked, it is no longer an MR. It is an act of consensual sex done under circumstances and emotions that both characters are not proud of and are guilty and regretful for the same. So, if people understand that to be regret or anger now, people aren't wrong.

Sure we can pretend. The monologues didn't go with the extreme scenes.

It made a mockery of meerab.

This change will badly impact the left over episodes as their actions will not make sense.

I guess as long as murtasim is saved all is good.
