They could have just added the clarification scene here as FB.

i.e. If there was a scene from another episode that showed it was consensual heat of the moment sex why not show it as FB in this episode along with the voiceover

Why I think it doesn’t work for these two is it is their first time. The first time!! There is no way you would force yourself upon someone in an angry way or to allow someone to use you because they were angry and you wanted them to do it. It would be emotionally and physically scarring.
