IMHO, NM planned for a dark lovestory with both the leads as somewhat grey characters with all their imperfections like zidd, ego, hot underlying passionate love FEO.
But the change has been from wahaj the actor, not agreeing for the slapfest which was supposed to be there at every other episode. So, ML has become good, caring and loving. As a result FL felt unnecessarily harsh, to justify her harshness, they had to introduce the MR but to justify MR, the uglyđ± thook scene, which was awful đ was added in the last minute.
They were scared at the level of backlash and hence probably made it as if the couple made it in the heat of the moment, probably few more adjustments should be there for the future tracks as well.
Aage, they never needed to show or bring up MR. She leaves Murtasim because of what happened, she lives in poverty and realizes that she always loved him, he also goes through some sort of inner change in his aggression, finds her, gets the child and then both live happily ever after.
Adding the monologue just saved them from backlash and it does not change the story. Infact this makes it even more illogical than the actual MR plot.
Nooran's thinking is not as logical as a lay person.
Haya clearly implied in the promo that it was MR, but they edited it out,Itâs clear it was originally MR. They changed it due to backlash. The voiceovers, the scene where Haya comes to Meerab is gone
doesnât even make sense the way theyâre showing it.

End me meerab ko maaf to Krna hi hai, toh jaha jaha MR ka zikr hoga waha waha se edit krte jaenge
