I'll admit the show has lost a bit of its charm ever since the whole kidnapping drama.. its become kinda melodramatic since then but ok its not yet completely unbearable

I'm loosing interest.. when will this pick up or will it never go back to being adorable?!

According to me Dhruv ke love realization ke bad sab kuch best hai family drama completely tone down ho jata hai aur shushi ki positive side dekhkar to tum definitely impress ho jaogi 👍🏼

Beyhadh 1's cult status is due to JW the actor. Unbelievably good performance- the script allowed her to showcase a variety of emotions, and she aced it. Looked unbelievably good doing it (great hair and styling), which also helped! 😳 Literally every actress interviewed those days about their dream role would answer Maya in Beyhadh.

Tandon during crying scenes and Winget in crying scenes were literally on two opposite ends of the scale performance wise.

I have no sympathy for her character (there used to be loads of fights in the Beyhadh forum because of it 😆), but as an actor- it's probably the single best performance I've seen on ITV. As she said at the end "Maya Beyhadh hai"

If they had a stronger actor than Tandon, B1 would probably have enjoyed the same cult status as say, IPK does these days on these boards. His single good point was to wear his shirt buttons low and be eye candy.

Goodness I absolutely dislike IPK. The leads can't act. Yeah it had cute moments but no way does it deserve the love it gets. Oh well.. to each his own.

For me the best performance I've seen from ITV post 2000 would be Mansi Parekh and Neil Bhatt in Gulaal. That show was a masterpiece and the entire cast was absolutely brilliant. A very very sensitive show with some of the best direction, acting and cinematography I've seen. Extremely underrated!

Will definitely give Beyhadh a try again and let you know how I found it.😳

IPK, a typical GulK show, leads chemistry is everything but it was super toxic. I didn't watch it then.. Aaj bhi nahi dekhungi.

P.s. for your sanity, give DhruvTara a break for today. Kal parso thoda thoda dekhna. There's a 2-3 week period where stuff got melodramatic. You can watch the 10min preview on SAB's YT. and then watch the episodes you feel like watching.

Fumbling on some words or not remembering the difficult ones is one thing but not being able to hold a decent conversation in your mother tongue really speaks a lot. Also shows hum kitne angrezo se prabhavit hai

I have not watched Neil in anything post Gulaal so can't say. Have no inclination or intention to watch his current show. Even though Gulaal was his early work, I am 100% convinced he can never top his performance in Gulaal ever again. It was the performance and role of a lifetime. He was in Gulaal for 6 months and that role pushed him to his best. The creatives, directors and the entire cast were such brilliant performers its no wonder they all were so freaking amazing. Same for Mansi.

Don't care much for Neil but I still love Mansi and I love that she is doing the work she enjoys. I remember her talking about how she can never do a nonsense daily soap and that quality matters most in picking a project. I loved her show post Gulaal too. Sumit Sambhal Lega. Did you watch it? It was adorableeeee!

Recently Sony has started uploading that show again FINALLY.

Give it a try if you haven't seen it. If you enjoy sitcoms like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai or just shows revolving a fun family, you'll love it!
