Pakistan law doesn’t allow marital rape

There was a time when the law didn’t recognise marital rape. The Offence of Zina (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance, 1979 defined rape as a man having sexual intercourse with a woman who is not his wife without her consent.

In 2006, the law was amended. The new law, Section 375 of the Pakistan Penal Code, now says that :a man is said to commit rape who has sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent.The change in wording shows that the country does recognise marital rape as a punishable crime.

Gunn I have read about MR cannot be charged in India. There were various reasons given but the most common one was because it is difficult to prove it in terms of consent. Also becoz this can be used against the man in some cases even when he is innocent. So they removed MR from being charged.

Anyone pls correct me if I'm wrong.. this is what I read from a news source when this MR charge was removed.

Pakistan I'm not sure.

SM is just tiny rep of TB viewers. The real people ( masses) who are actual targets are not so riled up ! Most seasoned viewers know this is TRP gimmick and not even wasting time discussing it and so majority chunk!
It’s only online viewers who are going crazy over something which is not shown !
