When talking about the quality of tv shows/movies, it's all subjective. But the numbers do tell you what people like watching and that ultimately determine the fate of dramas/movies. What critics or certain fans feel about the quality doesn't matter as long as companies are making money from their products. Take the heavily criticized Twilight and Transformers movies for example. They kept making them despite the criticism because people kept watching them and making the studios lots of money.

In short, the numbers matter more because that's what the studios depend on.

I assume you're saying Anupama is a bigger hit than TB. I don't disagree, but TB likely gets over 200 million views per month on YT. But in general, dramas/movies in India will find bigger success because of the population and market there.

ITV does get bashed but it does have plenty to offer that keep people watching it. I myself watched Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon recently. Although, I skipped almost every scene that didn't include the main leads I still watched 280-290 eps because there was something I liked about it (Madhubala).

I'm there are people who think ITV is much better than PTV and that's their opinion, which is perfectly fine.

Supernatural was amazing for the first 5 seasons because Eric kripke worked on a closed script. Everything from S1 to S5 were connected and he wanted the show to end with S5. But the series because way too big and the actors were fine with working further. So the channel milked it as much as they can. But they still managed to come up with good storyline for almost 10seasons. Mostly only sitcoms manage to do that for that long.

Youtube is a free platform and pak dramas are finite. So anupama which is on a paid platform getting 100million views for more than any year is bigger than a drama on YouTube getting 20-30m views per episode for 4-5 months. Pak dramas are also watched by people from Indian subcontinent only the same way itv is watched. Major contribution to the views on YouTube is by Indians only just like anupama gets views on hotstar. It's not like kdrama where people from all countries watch it. A successful kdrama is a global phenomenon but the high views of PTV and ITV shows come mainly only from people of Indian subcontinent.

I never watched this show to such extent. There are wayy more better guys in itv. Wali from diyar-e-dil and Asfandiyaar from yks are in top of my list. Murtasim cannot be compared to them.

Arsh from udaari, Salman from KA, Sohail from ejls are all unproblematic guys and greenest green flags out there.

Even asfar from KA is better than murtu. He has more control over his anger than murtu and definition is a more dignified guy. Hamza from MH is also better.

I am waiting for HUM to comeback. I like mawra. She mightnt have look. But she can act. Hopefully Jhok sarkar and Neem are good. Don't want to see any shows of geo but might wach Jannat sey aagey because of writer and different production house. The director is also very good.

I guess if it's not 7th sky then there will be hope for jannat sey aayi. 😆 more than geo it's 7th sky we should be afraid of🤣 . Their main job is to produce problematic stories and force feed their kaddu boy down our throats 🤣
