Like I said in one of my previous comments, recognizing the handwriting of a family member is a good to have thing but isn't a mandate.
I am terrible at recognizing handwriting, my cousin is a pro in this dept. It's not the same for everyone. It's not that easy....
And I come from a place where we prefer writing notes thn using a laptop
