I feel like till episode 22 it was best from then It not anymore meerasim story...other characters took the centre of stage.

Marriage is not always 50-50. Somedays husband are the bigger person, some days wife’s.

If Murtasim was wrong in not listening to Meerab, does not have to repeat the same mistake.

Yes. Atleast as per what I have understood. And this is applicable for people they care about.

They aren't mahaan or perfect in any way.

There are a couple of major issues:

1) No communication. So much has happened but never did they once have a heart to heart. Communication is a key in any relationship. Trust, understanding, love is something that follows...specially in their case because it wasn't a normal love marriage

2) Double standards. Both are hypocrites in their own way. They both want to be the priority, and want the other person to do as they say but not once will they think from the other person's perspective. MK wants Mee to stay away from Rohail, but he won't set boundaries with Haya. And same for Mee. Frequency has nothing to do with it. You cheat someone once or 10 times...it's still cheating

Similarly, meeting Haya everyday va meeting Rohail 2/3 is not a good enough reason to say, ohh Mee is better. The fact is, both of them don't respect the other person's pov and/or concerns

3) Victim card. The mindset that I am the only one struggling while the other isn't...is wrong. Both were forced. Both will have to compromise certains things. No relationship is 50-50 24*7. Different circumstances will require different amount of efforts...sometimes MK eill have to give and sometimea Mee will

4) Acknowledgement. They have 0 Acknowledgement of the fact that the other person is trying to change for the better

5) Third party. No one should ever involve a third party in a relationship. Not even their parents. Talking about personal details with a family member, friend is a big NO. Also, both of them have time and again showed their stupidity by letting a third person talk shit about the other. Be it Haya, MB or Rohail.

6) Ego and never admitting to their faults. Slap case, elopement, forced marriage, a lot of things. Not once have they apologized.

The other problem is they never think from eo's pov. They don't think about the consequences nor about what the other person will feel because of their action/reaction.

In life, one should think 100 times before doing anything that will hurt someone. It's important to keep yourself in the other person's shoes to understand how they will feel....always helps!

Agree with everything you say!!! They had the potential to be much more than what we are given!!

The whole purpose of Mariyam's track is give Me the choice to choose Mu wholeheartedly. Life had come full circle and she was back in Karachi where it all started when Mu left her. The choice that was forcibly taken away from her is now in her court.
