Yes. We know. I know. But this is TB. A lotta crap happens in NM land that wouldn’t happen in real life or is unfair, so many of us don’t judge it by real life standards all the time. And in real life, Maryam and Meerab would have probably had a lot worse happen to them after the eloping business in a feudal family, whatever our opinions are of the matter.
