Behen, Maryam ki case mein we thought Murtesim knew Haya recognizes MZ & will question her regarding why she didn't let them know! But hua kya? Kuch bhi toh nahin!

We tried to console ourselves thinking, Merub's actions matter more to him, Haya is nothing! (Tab bhi Merub jaanti thi what Haya is capable of, she still didn't say anything!)

Same can be applied in case of Merub too right? She wasn't expecting such a thing from Murtesim! More than Haya, Murtesim's action will hurt Merub! Just like he didn't listen to her regarding Rohail, she can shut him up too!
