As much as I loved how Waqas defended Meerab, I kind of found it hypocritical of what he said to Murtasim. Murtasim was the one who was there with Meerab when he himself didn’t open the door for his daughter. He too was manipulated by the Khans. Also during the contract revelation, he too was putting the blame on Meerab and it was only Murtasim who defended her. He knows that Meerab was with Rohail in Karachi when Murtasim went and got her yet he never revealed that to anyone. Waqas is also to blame for Meerab being forcefully married off. Had he have never closed his doors to her, she wouldn’t be in that desperate situation. I’m glad he woke up and is calling everyone out. He should stand up for his daughter even against Murtasim since that is a parent’s job but I would think he would want the two to reconcile. He has seen Murtasim step up and defend Meerab when no one else has.
