Hamza, murtasim jitna mahaan aur patient nhi tha. Itna patient banda (jiska dialogue that after he slapped meerab that he never slaps any lady) he can't slap meerab the love of his life. If nooran baji wrote this then she just killed the character of murtasim.

I don't agree with this completely. A slapping husband or boyfriend do lovey dovey stuff. An abusive partner can make you feel special most of the times and may slap you when they are angry. That is one of the reason most domestic violence victims stay in marriage because they think that it is an anger issue and it isn't a big deal.

Doesn’t it kill whole KMK and Meerub as characters?

NM said she wrote multiple scenes where KMK shawl keeps hitting Meerub and one day she will have enuf of it and holds it ! All this contradicts slap theory!

For me, it would have been a very different story altogether if there were so many slaps. We can all ignore that one slap conveniently. But multiple slaps would have permanently imprinted on our minds, that this guy really does have anger issues and can’t be trusted to keep them in check…because he does it over and over again.

(But…now that we know that there were multiple slaps written…I guess that’s why that dialogue she said says after the valima makes even more sense. Jaisi ma waisa beta. And also…that would make even more sense why after 42 episodes etc she hasn’t fallen for him despite him bending over backwards for her. If he had a pattern of slapping, most people would very much understand why she hasn’t fallen for him. Heck, even we would have been like…Rohaiiiiiiilooo, aa ja Meerab ki raja, and please save Meerab.)

@Bold: Doesn't matter how annoying Hala was , Hamza or anyone cannot slap her.

Hamza was pateint with her. A lottt. Hala had huge mental baggage much much more than Merab.

Here Merab has done more and huge mistakes than Hala.... Panchayat scene, eloping Mariyam etc.

I think it is true.

Doesn't matter how and what NM has written. Wahaj has made Murtasim absolutely loveable ML for me.

Watch the movie thappad by tappse pannu exactly what they movie try to portray whatever you said. Society thinks its very normal and happens in marriage. Kar diya not a big deal...but for these type of things are still in the society.
