Even in ZGH, Umera Ahmed (who is one of PTV's best writers) had written in a slap in the library when Kashaf confronts Zaroon on the disgusting things he says behind her back, but Sultana Siddiqui, the director, overrode that saying a woman like Kashaf would never forgive physical assault. So they shot the scene to show Zaroon enraged, and he even moves toward her, but there's no slap.

I actually won't be shocked if there were more slaps. Haya was also supposed to get slaps, and possibly from Murtasim but Sabeena refused to do those scenes.

Writers show Calm and composed hero slapping other characters, here Murtasim does have anger issues.

Happy Wahaj refused to do it. Apparently, he refused to do the first slap as well.👏👏

Even if he did refuse and they didn't change the story then they should have made the audience aware about it.

And slap logic doesnt make sense w.r.t not only Meerab's character but also MKs.

I think it’s completely bad writing.

A man who will slap his wife, will not follow any contract also, he will not support his wife in front everyone enormous times, would not eat anything he is allergic to.

Slapping is toxic. Slapping is whole new level temper issues, like extreme temper issues.

Murtu has anger issues but not that extreme.

The kind of man that they have shown Murtasim as the “slaps”, “jump scene” doesn’t fit anywhere.

They have shown Murtasim as a very loving husband. A loving husband would not slap is his wife no matter what.

If the news is true then NM wrote a bipolar ML.

But if it was then they should have justified or would have atleast added scenes wherein the audience would know about it.

Also, what abt MKs characters continuity? Aggressive and love dovey? Itna anger issues thodi dikhaye h?

I thinking they are just trying to use any random logic to justify the inconsistencies in Meerab's character. Because if the whole wlap thing is true then the audience should have been made aware (even if not the actual scene but somehow...through monologuesor whatever)

Wow these are quite tarkhi ladies…for what reason, lord only knows. At the end of the day though, despite editing and script adjustments lacking where needed, Yumna managed to gain a huuuuge fandom from this show. So, she showed them who really knows what’s up. Ultimately, who cares what these ladies say…the fans are the ones who she is doing it for, not for the aunty ji’s here. And the fans sure as heck are EATING IT ALL UP.
