MEERAB WAS WRONG IN HELPING MARIYAM TO ELOPE.
And Meerab is not someone who will stay quite, usse bolna hota woh bol deti. Its same women went to Panchayat and spoke against her husband.

Mariyam ne toh vaise bhi bhag Jana tha..She was the only one who was crying throughout...Uss waqt Mariyam mili bhi nahi thi...so she just accepted that she did help mariyam...no safai...
Later when Mariyam was found ..she tried to say but obviously Murtasim was hurt ...He asked her not to say anything and she did obey as she knows that she did hurt him big this time...
