My take on ma begum….I quite like Ma begum , she has shades of grey but then so do others . Contrary to what most ppl feel, she was not going to get Mariyam forcefully married had Anus been a good guy. She agreed to meet him and his family , though she was not happy about it but NONETHELESS she agreed and we all know what followed . No sensible person , leave alone a mother , would give their daughter in such a family as was evident from Seema aunty. One has to be blind, dumb and idiotic of the highest order to not see it. Ma Begum ,like any mother wanted best for her daughter and maybe she saw thst in Norez…so far we do not have any evidence to believe otherwise . As of now Norez is the boy from their extended family, dekha bhala ladka hai and a perfect match for Maryam ….that’s a mothers thought and so far nothing of the sort has come to light to believe otherwise . So on FORCED marrige front , I don’t find her guilty.

Her asking Maryam if she has come with her virginity intact….well…I will not read too much into it……we know HOW worried she was in those few hours when she went missing so when she knew she has been rescued then the ANGRY MOTHER a in her surfaced and she wanted to give a piece of her mind to her hence she said what she said and also she knew she is getting married so maybe she didn’t want to cheat Norez had otherwise happened to Mariyam ….I would like to give her benefit of doubt here…

The slap which Mariyam would be getting today is 100% justified from a mother to daughter IMO…that’s what my mom would have done to me had I done something like this….Mariyam would have been justified in eloping had her family CATEGOLICALLY refused to meet her lover or his family which they didn’t …despite being conservative and the wedding with Norez being just around the corner , they were ready to let go of that and get Mariyam married to the man she loved had that been the genuine case …one CAN NOT fault any of the family member there . They tried their best, Murtasum went to meet the boy also but we know what happened..….Despite all that , Mariyam went ahead …. She didn’t think of the humiliation it will bring to her family , a family for whom IZZAT is most important. I DO NOT subscribe to such love …char din ke pyaar ke liye tum apney logon ki dhajjiyan uda do ? Love that brings embarrassment and shame to your family is highly TOXIC in my opinion .

On the account that MB asked Murtasum to leave Meerab …. I don’t find her guilty . She did what any other mother would do in interest of her son…Evidence was right in front of her so no reason for her to believe otherwise . What Meerab did was obnoxious ( most ppl here were appalled by it and none approved of it ) . So if the reaction of fans on this page was like that ( some may not agree but that’s a fact ) so the reaction of ma begum as a mother was absolutely justified .
Lastly, if Meerab can be understood for all the blunders then why can’t Ma Begum ?

I don't think so that in ptv per episode system works. Like in written script TB has 28 episodes but wesy it would be 50+. So, actors can't get fee on basis of episodes, it would be something else.

Nenjam marapadillai was the tamil version.. it was better than the hindi as it finished early

Awe chiti is my all time fav serial which I watched from 1st to last epi. Loved that, even the title track was good. Everything about that show was good, even the vamp was classy.

He also played a small role in geet a small office guy but when he played shakuni my eye could not believe how brilliant he was.
