Being in the media she should know very well what saying Item number means, it represents not classy everyone knows that, even Bollywood grudgingly admits it even though they won't openly admit it.
Gone are the days of Helen from Sholay, when item numbers were relevant to the plot and they were shot classy, choreography wasn't crass and you can actually enjoy the song.
Nowwwwwwww it is no longer like that that in Bollywood. Watching Pathan with my dad we were both like WTF is this song supposed to mean, music sucks, choreography sucks, only skin show galore.
The interviewer used that word on purpose. She called an actor from TB for an interview, and called the project she was part of an item number, labeling the whole project trash and hence shaming Mira's hard work as nothing worthy of praise. Poor Mira I felt for her wow just wow where is the professionalism.
I like Katrina Kaif, if you want to talk about item numbers talk to her. Katrina answers these questions well, agree or disagree at least she has an answer.
Why the hell are you insulting your own actor from your own country on your own show, you only make yourself look like a fool.
