I mean she easily could. I don't trust a single member of that family. Afteall she's MBs daughter. Just blame others.

Whatever meerab is she tells the hard truth and takes some accountability. She told murtasim that yes she helped. She could have easily made an excuse. She could have said the other truth that Maryam was threatening to die.
