I feel like Meerab really needs to start speaking up at the right times. Even post accident, when she was kicked out by MB, she just quietly listened to Murtasim and didn’t defend herself. I understand she was hurt that he didn’t believe her but she hasn’t given him much for him to just blindly trust her. She constantly says that she doesn’t consider him her husband but expects him to fully trust her without even giving him any explanations from her end. She was also quiet during the whole Rohail thing when he was openly declaring his love and speaking out against Murtasim. This time as well, she could have spoken up and told Murtasim the truth and kept the narrative in her own hands but she didn’t. I hope she at least tries to speak up for herself in tomorrow’s episode. I feel like it’s Meerab’s flaw that she runs her mouth off at the wrong times but becomes mute when it counts the most. Maybe she tries to act tough but really isn’t and that’s why she acts the way that she does in high stress situations.

At this point, she expects too much from Murtasim. He’s always the one defending her and coming to her rescue. She’s also easily hurt by him when he does not believe her but I don’t feel like she’s done anything to build that trust with him. I understand where her feelings are coming from but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect so much of someone. She might feel betrayed by him but she does need to explain herself and display some feelings of care towards him for him to really understand her. Even during this whole Mariam kidnapping thing, it was Murtasim that was comforting Meerab. It was adorable but we need to see Meerab comforting Murtasim in difficult times, especially after his whole confession where he exposed his vulnerability.

I think this is a journey that Meerab will have to go through. Hopefully she will start expressing herself more in upcoming episodes.
