I went to school with all these types with kids. People like Ibrahim and Nysa are dating like 10 people and partying everywhere at once and no one cares. (it's a shame because I'm quite worried about Nysa)

Akshay's kid too has no desire to work in the industry unless it's on the design front so I don't think his behavior matters as much.

But the Suhana/Janhvi types (Aaradhya is going down this route) where they're surrounded by yes-men and coddled everywhere is also not good at all as well.

Really - Kajol thing is a shocker! I have never heard about this before. I wonder why is star kids upbringing so casual?

Kajol got what?!😳I agree with everything else except Aaradhya. Tbh as much as she’s picked on in this forum, I totally get why Ash is constantly hovering around her daughter. She doesn’t want her to be a Nysa/Suhana 2.0 and is clearly quite protective over her.

It’s your nature vs nurture debate I guess. Every one of these kids study/studied at Dhirubhai Ambani school. Rich people’s school basically and you’re surrounded by these things where it’s completely normalised so yeah.

Agreed. All these kids are so entitled. The behaviour is almost a trend amongst tgis generation of nepo kids. The fact is that fathers and mothers are so involved in their work, that they just allowing it.

When Jaya Bachchan was still working, Big B and her came home to find Abhisheikh had tied his sister up and she decided that she will quit and look after the kids herself. Not that I'm saying that anyone needs to give up their career.. but there was a sensibility and responsibility in the past generation of actors which is lacking now.

I don't know where Irfan Khans son studied, but that kid has a lovely personality in him. He's so humble, nice and respectful.

I don’t think being a working parent is correlated to being a good/bad parent. Babil’s PR game is so on point. I’ve said it before on here, but i’m so impressed. He knows exactly what to do, what works and what doesn’t and is curating that image for himself. For starters, his interaction with the papz..people need to watch! He knows people will lap this up, smart guy!
Apparently Babil dropped out of his Arts degree, kinda sad, I’m sure Irrfan would’ve wanted him to graduate.💔

It's very normal for a artsy-high school or for an international-focused high school. I think it's because of the friends you attract being rich and famous. Even people like Akshaye Khanna when younger would be absolutely destroyed on here.

Poor Aamir Khan's daughter has spoken about being s@xually abused at the age of only 14 years old. Aaliyah Kashyap (Anurag kashyap's daughter) also has clinical depression bouts hence why she can be on/off limelight due to partying at a young age. It's not so difficult because you meet a lot of bad people who want to take advantage of you due to fame.

That's why Suhana is so close to Ananya and Shanaya. They're her close group - even if they seem like leechers, they're safe people.

You do have people like Aishwarya who try to combat that (see how she takes Aaradhya everywhere) but it is quite difficult. Even in the South it is the same story.

Sridevi isolated her daughters so much she banned them from getting up from their seats to go away from her at functions. She encouraged her daughters to party, dress up in whatever, and all, but she was incredibly serious at formal events. She didn't do that because she was some horrible stage mom but because she had concerns and extreme trauma of her own.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to avoid these kinds of concerns in the long run. I wonder what Aishwarya will do in future years.

I have heard he had a serious addiction. I think it is better if he is more stable as a dropout than as going back and messing up his health. Fun fact Babil dated Aryan's rumored girlfriend/close friend Shruti Chauhan.

Earlier celebs would send kids to boarding school or hire governess or nanny to discipline kids or balance home and work themselves or take breaks to be with kids.

Or send kids to grandparents or aunts to teach them in case they were busy or had personal issues.

Dutts sent Trishala to maternal grandparents to keep her away from dad's controversies, jail issues, drugs and messed life and shield her from media and bad company. Her nani nana in USA raised her.

Today's lot are party animals themselves or busy networking than take care of kids. I mean Gauri is housewife, not working, still she could not monitor what company Aryan keeps or how he landed up at that cruise. Why we talk of just Jaya leaving work?

It is also about keeping a watch or discipline yourself. Zarina Wahab quit work after marriage but her son Sooraj Pancholi took after dad Aditya and became tharki, wayward himself.

It is really about parents' own will to be good role models or discipline kids or shield them from bad company or own vices. Most parents just pop out kids and later see them as burden and neglect them. I am sorry but people do not take parenting seriously or their impact on kids seriously. They have kids like something to tick off a bucket list and see kids as acquisition like property and forget kids are not objects and it takes a lot to raise kids and they have mind of their own.

Everyone here is picking on Dhirubhai Ambani (first of all half the kids I mentioned did not go to DA but Ecole) but international schools are the real problem. The London-based crowd is very dangerous. She is dating a man much older than her who is using her clout to have parties. She's barely 20.

More importantly, she is a walking PR disaster. Drinking so much she was throwing up and drinking all over again. Kajol was similarly chaotic but mummy Tanuja can do PR for her in a way Kajol cannot do here with the internet. Esha Deol had the same problems and Hema was able to barely save her reputation. Drug allegations are obviously going to start.

I am not so worried if she wants to be the next Alanna Panday or Shanaya Kapoor where we know she's in it for the fame. But as debutant Nysa Devgan, daughter of the founding family of Bollywood, older people will be judgemental. Hopefully she does not want to debut because she is an easy troll target.
