Agreed. No one can put the entire blame on Meerub or consider her the main cause of the whole MZ fiasco. Maryam was meeting this guy at her house, in her room late in the night for God knows how long. She had mentioned eloping before as well..so this was on Maryam. Meerub didn't suggest this, nor did she force her to do it.
She helped Maryam which was clearly wrong. More so because of the conversation she had with Murtasim.
She was defending him the whole day means she is well aware that Murtu will not lie then why would she still do it? Also, the fact that she did this right after the confession is what hit me hard. Like after such an emotional conversation with her husband...who requested/begged her to not do anything, that will jeopardize their relationship. Why? I mean Murtasim didn't just confess, he opened up. He showed his vulnerable side...but still she didn't think 🥲 and that this what is bothering me the most.

Yes you can blame Meerab. Mariyam is clearly in the wrong but she was also in the wrong. She could have come clean to Murtasim that M is threatening suicide or elopement - please talk to her- instead of hiding it from the family and sending a naive stupid girl with a guy she barely knows..
Meerab is the one who will get blamed as Mariyam will be termed as the victim.
