You know that you are connected with a good show when you visit the forum on a Friday evening and read genuinely good discussions happening! ☺️☺️Kudos to you all for starting threads on show plusses and future suggestions 👍🏼👍🏼 in social media and forums where toxicity thrives, I feel fortunate to spend some quality time on NUKSH forum to be a part of your discussions and contribute my two cents!! 😊

For me, the biggest pull to this show was their very first promo! It had a magic of its own, an old school romance feel that's so missing in ITV these days ❤️ I hadn't followed Iqbal through the years viz a viz his acting graph and work and had no clue who Rachana was till I saw the promo and decided to give the show a try! I may have been slightly disappointed sometimes but till now I haven't felt let down as an audience for investing my time in NUKSH! So credit definitely goes to all the people and departments that have come together to create NUKSH 👏👏

As mentioned before, Dev's characterization till now is the biggest highlight of the show - a genuinely nice, grounded person who tries to help people around him in whatever way he can! A person of few words but well thought out actions who has seen a lot in life to know that what goes around, comes around! 👍🏼👍🏼

He has utmost respect for every person he crosses paths with, but also knows where to draw the line. Yes, he has his weaknesses but never lets them overpower him and uses setbacks and challenges to forge a path forward! 👍🏼 Ultimately, you cannot help but admire such fictional characters! And at the risk of repeating myself, I will say that all departments and Iqbal himself have put their best effort in creating Dev Raichand.

Sometimes when I come across TV awards shows and see the same TRP toppers winning awards despite the toxic characters and cringe content they serve - I do feel bad that the fraternity does not give enough appreciation / recognition to such well-etched out characters and shows that are much more sensible and don't berate their audience intelligence! 🥺🥺 but then I just internalize that every appreciation does not come in the form of a physical award!

I also feel Vidhi's character has been wonderfully portrayed by Rachana, she definitely has been an actor I will watch out for in future 👍🏼 at the same time there's so much scope in her character and I genuinely hope makers do justice to Rachana's acting abilities and her willingness to mould herself to keep taking her performance several notches higher!

Yes, every show has scope for improvement but am glad to start and stay connected with NUKSH and most importantly with so many of you on the forum! ❤️❤️

P.S. Kuchh zyaada hi lamba post ho gaya! Sorry about that! 😊

Loved this perspective. I have wondered why I have stuck to this show for so long and I think your points above reflect my sentiments to a great deal. I think the biggest thing has to be dev’s characterization. There are sometimes where I feel like what is he doing, and why isn’t he doing X Y or Z. But at the core of his character, Dev is a good person, a genuine person who doesn’t talk big, no big gestures etc but let’s his actions show his intent and his principles. That has been such a refreshing change from the norm - like you said MLs who get upset angry touchy touchy for no reason.

Vidhi’s character was well written too - but I was mighty disappointed with how they butchered it during that divya track. Before she got married, she was a woman of little words and a lot of thoughtful actions. But since she got married it feels like the writers decided that she needs to be the reincarnation of whatever perfect bahu they each have in mind. I really cannot stand her tall dialogs and lectures - I think that aspect of hers needs to change. Yes she is supportive - but I don’t think she needs to be gyaan vaani like she is the authority on everything.

Dev used to say that she in a very simple manner says deep things. There were instances where that were very true - eg, when dev and vidhi get into a fight about priya and abhi and she says they’re family. Why wouldn’t you say anything. That was simple. I miss that aspect. I think they are really trying to tone it down. But it is hit or miss.

I would love to see a light hearted track - would be bonus if it’s around Kaushik - he brought some much needed comic relief into the show these last couple of episodes.

So true... Despite all the mishaps... Most of us are still stuck to the show only because of videv. I was never a fan of IQ.. Most of his earlier shows have the usual ITV cringe factors which I can't stand and frankly IQ doesn't standout in any of them..

But Dev was meant to be played by none other than him. Like someone mentioned it feels like he got that salt pepper look just to portray Dev. I feel Rachna too is a brilliant actress who was meant to play Vidhi..

It would be great if the makers maintain subtlety in everything including makeup dialogue etc.. Both are powerhouse of talent who have brought videv to life.

It's the overdo of stuff that spolis everything.

Oh yes! Same as you, myself and I believe many other forumwasis were hooked by that first promo! Who wrote that promo dialogue? Hugs N kisses to the guy🤗

Ye Baarish hum dono mein fark nahi karati; toh hum kyun kare.... Na Umra Ki Seema Ho!

Expectations thinking real beautiful old school show went sky high ; but the beauty of the relationship where age truly doesn't matter did not thrive...... It was more about bipolar HP and psychotic Amba😭

I agree👍🏼. The fact that we still watch despite the disappointments..... There's Something About the Show!

I watched Iqbal in Tumhari Paakhi and thereafter Sanjog se mili Sangini(partly)..... I suppose that "something about the show" is partly due to Iqbal......

As mentioned before, Dev's characterization till now is the biggest highlight of the show - a genuinely nice, grounded person who tries to help people around him in whatever way he can! Oh Yes! 👍🏼👍🏼 With subtle, on-the-point acting he brought the nuances of Dev alive and made him likeable...... In that Balghar diwali day....... an emotional scene with his stepmother...... he never went overboard with glycerine tears; the way his voice choked..... Hugs N kisses🤗

He has utmost respect for every person he crosses paths with, but also knows where to draw the line. Yes, he has his weaknesses but never lets them overpower him and uses setbacks and challenges to forge a path forward! 👍🏼 Ultimately, you cannot help but admire such fictional characters! I second that! 👍🏼Rachana is a talented actress!..... That palat scene during initial days was a direct copy; but she aced it with her expressions and acting........

Makers writers please do not make her sarvgun sampann Bahot Jyata Vaani (vocal) Ability Bahu! Keep her Human, Keep her Vidhi!

Let's not close before we salute Sneha Wagh for superbly portraying Amba👏👏👏Saw her interview, she truly understands the character and depicts it flawlessly through her expression power..👏👏👏

Kuchh jyada clapping ho gaya?? Kya kare Amba ki apni khud ki style jo ho gayee hai🤣

Check out her YouTube latest interview in green crumpled saari after Dev's Plan startedsmiley20..... Amba ka kaand pe kaand kaand pe kaand🤣
