What I liked:
Satya. Sole reason of getting through the episode. He literally worded my recent drabble's last part (not so subtle plugin 🤣) but also because it shows how much mature he is (pakka aaji ne bada kiya hai, Amaba doesn't seem to have this much sense. She has the grace, but not maturity)
Harshad: He looksspecially his hair a bit tusseled after removing the headgear☺️
Aishwarya: I think from the three leads, she was the best today. She gloated like SaoYa and Sai fans would gloat. She roasted Kaku to hell and back. But when Sonali reminded her that Virat would still not accept her, her expressions were good. I think the stink eye she gives could be improved coz she looks down, instead of Kaku's face, which makes you go like "didi, kya dekh rahe ho?🙈"
Sonali: I think the actress doesn't get her due credit. She lives in other's misery, and doesn't care who it is, as long as someone in the house is crying. She reminds Paakhi about Virat not wanting to be with her and shuts up Ashwini when she tries to pacify Paakhi.
Aaji: She be so cute! I can't wait for her and Savi scenes.
Sai's flashback: I am convinced the writers stalk the forum because I had said yesterday that they told use Sai's conflict via Aaba, but they could have just shown it with Sai's flashback and focus on marriage scenes.
What I didn't like:
Virat:( yeah, duh!) He was shown a diljale aashiq, but I can't feel his pain at this point, because his pain is his anger. It's not hurt, not heartbreak, but pure anger. When he said you ruined SaiRat, i went "chup be! Mere fav movie ka naam bhi mat lo at this point"
Sai: It's not like I not-not liked her, but her dialogues were a little weak. Plus, I think Ayesha spent the whole sequence just counting ants on the floor. The crestfallen expressions could use a bit more work.
Amba: The only adhikari to make this list. I don't think she meant Savi is manusiyat (i actually thought that too, but then second thought pe I think it's Sai, more precisely, her past with Viru and her attachments to the Chawans) and I get her being worried to see someone just hijack a happy occasion, but she focused on the negatives so much that she forgot that her focus should be only Satya, as a mother, and not Sai.
Ashwini: She actually smiled when Paakhi told them about the marriage and then went all "behave yourself" on Paakhi hypocrisy ki Seema hoti hai!
The bgm choice: Ik they were trying to show an end of a love story, but it felt jarring. When Virat was getting hit, there was sad music which made me go "Abbey jaa be!" Because the scene at that point got stretched out
The yellow tinge: If you have watched Bulbul (spoilers) to show that Bulbul is taken over by Kaali maa, they show the screen in red tinge, when she kills someone, when she stands up for herself. And though I hate that red tinge because it messes with viewing experience, it still has significance in the bigger picture. Idk what creative choice made the editors apply yellow tinge in the temple scene, probably because yellow and purple contrast and they wanted the contrast to highlight the characters (some scenes were shot at night and they had to show that it's day) but it messed up the whole thing.
A question to Marathi folks (m nt maharastrian) do mangalsutra hote hai? One during mangalashtika and one during the phere?🤔
