He has mellowed down a lot. Far cry from his stubborn, confrontational, rebellious, outspoken self of past.
Age also wore him down I guess. Or trolling his daughter gets due to him, which probably worsens her anxiety, makes him tone down more of himself or he fears for Junaid and Azaad also in future.
Earlier he was so confrontational that he even fought with his own dad in public.
The way he deleted all his social media accounts and blogs and has gone under radar, makes me think he has given up or probably regrets whatever he did in past.
He was crying a lot in his interview on News18 and blaming himself for his divorces, mental health of his kids, disappointing his fans, giving flops and not giving time to family either. I guess he is in self blame mode and on backfoot and regrets lot of things he did in life probably in his own ego or whims. He has burnt lot of bridges earlier fighting with media, award juries, politicians, co stars, directors, spouses, dad, brother and God knows who else.
He would take breaks or ban or block things and people out of his life and still somewhat succeed professionally and bounce back, remaining unaffected. This has not been the case anymore as his last few films flopped and second wife also left him, media and social media also mauled him.
I guess he fears for kids and his own legacy or perception and image now and future bread and butter.

Aamir being an asskisser now is actually a sign of power of BJP now and its IT cell. They made him yield. A man like him who did not bother about own dad or wives or politicians or underworld or fans or public or awards etc is on backfoot. It shows what threats and sustained propaganda can do to anyone, besides age also humbling mightiest of egos.
Amitabh was also tamed after his flops, bankruptcy and Bofors etc. He swore off politics and now kisses ass of anyone in power and never messes with politicians. He remains safe no matter who comes to power. Aamir and co will also have to follow suit and slowly become asskissers for anyone in power and not take side of anyone.
I guess big stars have it worse. Likes of Naseer can still afford to take sides no matter what.
Sadly it is true.......and after what happened to SRK...he is very very scared......He may not show his affection for his kids like SRK does....but he is a father and loves his kids as much as SRK does or for that matter any father does......kids can be anyone's biggest strengths and weaknesses at the same time......I feel really bad for him and all the actors who are soft targets......people keep on mocking these actors for not speaking up....lekin koi kaise kuchh bole......we all know what is happening to those who speak up....
