Never heard of this plus in most Gurdwaras you can have tea and pakoras before you go into the prayer hall. Just needed an excuse for her to faint!

I don't think its is an excuse, keerat and her family also mentioned Sahiba does it every year bhisaki she will do seva with out eating anything , Its is individual belief.

its not like you have to eat and go in to gurdwar na? there is no rule you that you have to fast or you shouldn't.

if fasting is not there in shikkism panjabhi celebrate karwachauth very grandly. i have seen my neighbours does that. they will celebrate ina grand rich style they do fast for Husbands.

Sikhism doesn’t have karwachawth but if they want they can celebrate it’s individual choice

Even I am not sure but as far as I read they don’t believe in karwa chawth but many Sikh women do celebrate Karwara chawth. They consider it romantic rather than the belief in extending husbands age.

You might be right. Keerat is holding some guys collar in the beginning just saw. Maybe apart from fast some other reason for fainting. Or they are recreating eve teasing sequence here, honestly prefer they did not. Will stretch the sequence by another 4 episodes. Let us see what they show.
