it makes sense to drag the track and delay the wedding as much as possible. Allows more time for SaiYa to know each other and more about each others past, families etc.

Getting SaiYa married is the best course of action because then they can prolong the angst by showing Satya being related to CN folks and entering their lives and therefore V being in touch with SaiYa too along with the kids excuse.

And no matter which endgame the makers want, SaiYa marriage is a good stepping stone to that

If they want SaiYa coz audience like me loves it- then they can show that and make it progressive

if they wanna go back to Sai V someday then atleast V should face a bit of everything he put Sai through- seeing her as someone else's wife, having his daughter doubt him and think of him as a bad guy for sometime atleast, having to tolerate all the close moments between SaiYa
