It is good, and I have really like some of her points, that Murtasim is thinking about everyone and Meerub is only concerned with Mariam and her consent, I accept that one’s life should his/her priority but this looks good in story and shows only, because when you have a family, you are responsible and answerable to them no matter how good it sounds to have full control of your life but it’s not possible in real life, It will purely be selfish of you, if you are ready to hurt everyone for your happiness, even if the other side is wrong, Two wrongs would never make a right, it will only result into injustice so why to justify. And the problem of consent could have easily be solved if and if only Murtasim and MB would have agreed to at least listen to Mariam or to meet Anas, he is zubi is the different matter, it is obvious that he won’t have come to meet them but in any case it would have convinced Mariam that he is not the guy he claims to be.
I don’t agree with her statement that Meerub is acting emotional that’s why she is not paying heed to Haya’s words, Haya has always spoken nonsense and Meerub ignores her all the time, how would it ever reach to her mind that Haya knows more than they do, she is thinking that Haya has something in her mind and for her it is another plot to destroy Mariam’s life or their marriage, you know the plot so you know that haya knows Zubair but how in the world it is going to click into Meerub’s mind. It is so illogical to think that she should have known that Haya knows who Anas is. Meerub doesn’t know how much Haya knows and she has some class unlike Haya so she is not going to snoop around her stuff to find out what’s going on in Haya’s mind, she is not a villain to plot something against Haya.
The main problem with Haya is, she knows the khan family better than they knows themselves, she has been around them long enough to be a family member and she knows how much they value their family and it’s honour and that’s their weakness, they knows that Haya is selfish but what they don’t believe is that she is capable of doing something so heinous. They have all underestimated Haya, we all are talking about Murtasim, MB and Mariam but Meerub to has ignored haya, they are treating haya not on the basis of her action but on the basis of their views. Haya has done so bad to Meerub and still Meerub is feeling for her not because she is emotional but because she is that good, her heart has always been at the right place. MB trusts her upbringing, Mariam trusted her love.
What I have felt in the episode is that to be the head of the family, Murtasim lost the connection, that emotional touch with his family, he doesn’t take emotions in to consideration when he makes decisions regarding and that’s why he is different in treating Meerub, with Meerub his emotions take the front-seat, but for Mariam he is not the brother, he doesn’t have that emotional touch and it was us who was finding this emotion in him which he never had.
