So they doesn't like it when she doesn't reciprocate the same feeling.

I noticed people actually didn't care how meerasim characters behave with other characters whether right or wrong.

They care about only meerasim equation.

For eg : Most of the people didn't care whether murtasim cared about his sister's wish or not

Main focus was meerab reaction towards his proximity

Same way almost everyone went against MK character when meerab cried seeing him with haya.

So both characters r dependent on each other.

The general trp audience hardly watch with it with their thinking caps on! And even if they do, it's mostly from a shallow perspective! Which is fair enough! It's a show made for that purpose exactly!

It's a regular dekho aur bhool jao thing for them, they don't grow attached to characters, it's more about curiosity for them! And they mostly view the drama with a very superficial lens! So in the larger view, Meerab will only be liked by a certain part of the audience, because Murtasim's love is beautified on the show!

Fangirls (teenagers and IG public) watch it for Wahaj as Murtasim and the romance.

Inspite of all this, like you said, everyone does hope to see the couple ending up together! Because that's the whole point of the show!
