In a weird twisted way it works out that in their first mission together they fail. She only considered her crusade, what Yam wanted, what zubi said, never what would happen to him if this goes south. So seeing him ruined because of her advice will hopefully knock some sense into her. No naive idealism is bigger than him, just like for him his anger shouldn't be more important than her. I am not saying she needs to bottle up her values and sacrifice her life at his feet, but in any successful marriage you don't act in a void, you must consider your partner.
