I agree that running away from home was a big step. But she has seen how Maa Begum and Murtasim deals with things from her childhood. May be she has come to a conclusion that they will never get her married to Anas. And also it is her first time in love. And she has no real life experience. She is putting Meerab in difficult situation. I think at this point she is only thinking about herself and Naurez's proposal pushed her to take decisions in haste.

Yes this is more about her than Maryam, how much more is not important. Now how will he handle this trauma compared to how she handled hers?

Will he lash out at her as she lashed out at him?

How will he punish her compared to how she punished him?

How will she help him rebuild his world again, will it go above and beyond what he tried to do for her?

Murtasim didn't fail in helping her heal he just ran out of time before fate struck him a mighty blow, will Meerab succeed where he failed?

What happened to Meerab wasn't her fault and what is going to happen to him won't be his fault either. Just one of KMK trials en route to his happily ever after with wife and kids. They will never be alone in pain, when she lost everything he endured along with her and now she will suffer with him. Her duties much harder than his, she has to help the husband, son, brother, leader and she has to help herself too.
