Those thoughts will come later, mostly after this confrontation is over. But the first reaction is disbelief that Ak hid something so big from him it’s like he has to do a double take. This. Revelation has hit him from left field and he does not know how to face it. His looking for the file is also to reassure that his thinking about Abhir is correct. If he is wrong, how do you think it would look if he went and asked Ak if Abhir was his son but he was truly Nav’s son?

But the biggest issue for him was to wrap his head around the truth that Ak hid his son. That kind of betrayal is not something he expected from his Ak. And also, ever since he saw her again she has actively avoided talking up him. There are very little clues or words or facial reactions from her for him to judge her thoughts. She knows if she spent too much time in his presence he will figure out the truth. She has said that many times.

They have kept abhis pov hidden so that they can use it in court drama.
