Read through some parts of the thread and I just wanted to point something out. This show promotes forced marriages. In each case, they ensure that there are some mitigating circumstances that negate the need for consent esp of the female involved
Meerasim - meerab was forced but she has a hot loving hubby willing to die for her or not. So the forced component is justified
Haya- she is in love with married man. Who needs her consent?
Marium- she’s in love with a predator. Her lack of consent in marriage should be overruled
in each case the narrative ensures that the issue of consent is concealed beneath layers of other issues. In marium’s case MK and MB don’t know about Z but they do know- Marium doesn’t want to marry. She has told MB directly, And meerab had told MK - but they fixed her marriage without having a proper convo with Marium at all.
If we negate Zubi, no one will be on their side but the narrative will make it seem consent is not the issue here.
Moral of TB- don’t give girls choices. They make silly ones
I know I made a similar post before but this needed to be reposted
