Yeah, recently ive seen a lot of dramas where they show proper hugs!!! I DEMAND ONE FOR MEERASIM!! They owe it to us after all the stress we go through week after week lol

Because haya's scenes are most important than name sake leads.

What that scene of 3-4 minutes served where haya giving essay about her and mariyum bond.

Do we supposed to feel sad for her by thinking meerab ruined her precious bond with mariyum 🤷

Last week scenes of meerab telling murtasim about mariyum not wanting marriage, mariyum telling MB about not wanting marriage are not needed because in yesterday's episode characters acted like those scenes didn't happen at all.

So what purpose those scenes served 🤦

Yes they do hug, but sadly all of them are consolation hugs with the fl either crying or being scared..those are not romantic hugs, because ptv doesn't do romance but slaps are completely fine. 👌

I swear they need to check the asylums near 7th sky production house because two highly dangerous mental inmates with dementia have escaped and started their delusional career as writer and director 🤣

Zero continuity. Random scenes put together. I'm okay with it if they give us 🔥 meerasim stuff. I don't mind it then 😆 just can't can't watch Behaya be a caricature of a villian a minute more

This was also my first impression of show and something I wished to see on screen!
But few weeks later I realised it wouldn’t have worked! People are suckers for romance and underdog stories, they tune in week after week with hope KMK will win over meerab, they are rooting for him because he is hopelessly in love with her and we all are hopelessly in love with his love for her!

The reason why these films aged so well is because everything came together so nicely- the story,the screenplay and most importantly the actors who gave life to these beautifully flawed characters !

IMO, Nooran got their(Me n Mu's) relationship arc right at least for the most part! I know both the characters have been fumbling off late but am sure they will come around. I am too invested in their journey, there's no going back!

OOOooooooohhhhh mouna raagam love it, songs so poetic so deep so painful so romantic. Meerab reminds me of Revathy. That scene when Revathy breaks down, cries and says she can't move on in her life because she lost her heart, you feel her pain and her trauma. I can go back to that scene and it still makes me cry. It is like Meerab's loss of identity she can't move on with Murtasim, because her heart, her soul, her very identity is destroyed, they stole her ability to love anyone honestly, poor Meerab poor Murtasim.

The classics age really well because the script is tight tight tight, they will forever be timeless. We can't judge TB till the drama finishes, but the script unfortunately isn't that strong so how will this drama age? YZ and WA as actors their journey is not complete, they will continue to grow. But where does Meerab and Murtasim rank, have they done enough as actors in this drama, I think they have but nothing is perfect. I think MeMu will rank as one of the best if not the best in terms of chemistry, only Dillagi comes close because it has that similar fire cracker romance, ofcourse I am only considering Alpha/Alpha couples here. Murtasim and Meerab legacy in Pakistan drama industry is safe and secure, unless TB self destructs, which I don't think will happen.

The physical contact (skin to skin / body to body) in this show is quiet tame. The two hugs we got were really half-hugs and their bodies never touch (lights off, kidnap rescue), Haath bhi kas kar nahin pakadte yeh donon....hand holds where even palms touch are few (dance, coffee). Even when Wahaj brushes Yumna's hair off her face, he never touches her skin. Same in chain scene. Yumna is quiet conservative and does not do scenes that most other actresses are comfortable doing.

It still seems too much to the pearl clutching aunties at fuschia because the CHEMISTRY is very sexual and it is blazing hot. Inke to eyelocks se screen main aag lag jaati hai. PTV main yeh chemistry nhahin dekhi pehle. Such scenes would never raise eyebrows in another drama without this chemistry but here they seem too charged and intimate. Also, sex is not just the subtext - drama ka focal point hai keh when will these two do it. What do you expect - ab eye aur neck acting is also R-rated to phir radio play banao? And also why are fuscia aunties watching this drama with this theme with kids?

The makers could have shown both what you mentioned and what I mentioned at the same time. They could have created some situations where Meerab helped Murtasim like in Naila's matter there was scope like someone mentioned. But they did not highlight Meerab's character. Even when they gave good dialogues for Meerab like in Episode 12 and 18 they were overshadowed by the romance and accident.
