true. He just used abhi for abhir. His dialogues were wierd. Dhaaga bandhne se sachhai thodi na badhal jayegi or something. So basically he does not treat abhi as father but he somewhere thinks what if god will punish him for taking abhi's right so just manipulated him and made him to tie dhaga.

true if she really loved abhinav she would have accepted him long back. She was waiting for 6 years for abhi to come back and when she realized abhi has decided to move on in order to avoid getting caught in her feelings for abhi she decided to move on with abhinav as that will put a full stop for herself and serve as bhedi and she will not be able to leave abhinav post that.
