Meerab never went out of her way to meet rohailOriginally posted by: WanderingWonder
Ewww these pictures. Husband dearest would be on the sofa for years to come, if I saw this. If he asked me to jump, forget it. He absolutely should have more consequences.
They both did stupid things here.
For me, the only difference is that Murtasim actually makes his feelings clear to her, so we really are sure that he is just being stupid and in the delusion of cousin hood. On the other hand, Meerab does not make any feelings clear to him. So we and Murtasim are not so sure whether her actions are somewhat influenced by her possible interest in rohail or even the possibility of the other life he represents. Also, Murtasim never goes out of his way to go to Haya. Meerab goes to Rohail. So, that adds to the wonder about what her feelings are.
And Meerab purposely hides it. Murtasim doesn’t hide any of his dealings with Haya - during the Gaon trip he tried to talk to Meerab and asked Haya to call her.
Those are the slight differences that make me slightly more peeved with the Meerab rohail thing. The Murtasim jump thing I can’t explain. Also, I live and walk in very liberal western circles and I don’t know any wife or husband that “secretly” talks to their friends of the opposite sex. When they talk to their platonic friends, it’s out in the open. They also meet up with them for lunch or dinner after inviting their spouse to join in, unless they just ran into them or it’s at work etc. Nobody is leaving their spouse at home and secretly meeting their friend. Unless there’s something else going on and/or trouble in the marriage. And certainly, I don’t know any couples where one spouse goes over to their friend’s ( of the opposite sex) house if that person is alone there. None of my liberal girl or guy friends would be ok with that. But I didn’t realize that Karachi is more liberal?!!
QUOTE=Kumuda-123] She wil face consequences for it
Unlike Raja babu murtasim who get away doing these things despite claiming to love his wife
In restaurent scene itself she told him she always saw him as friend
Yes some of her dialogues are ambiguous just to increase rohail's obsession.
She didn't met rohail secretly. When MB asked her where did she go, anwar comes and tells a lie.
He talks with her, questions her character which made her feel her interaction with rohail will be judged wrongly by them.
So she talks to him phone secretly. Everytime it is rohail who called her not her.
Even in that phone call, she tells him I still see u as friend. Though her staying silent to his nonsense is not needed.
While going to Karachi, rohail isn't even in her mind. It is anwar who brings up him. Just to spite him she tells what if I meet rohail. If she has any malice intentions, she wouldn't have said it.
When anwar tells murtasim can kill rohail, she gets alerted.
Main point she never intended to go to his flat. He said they r going to restaurant. The moment she set her foot in his flat, she kept on saying I want to leave, I don't want to be here.
Even before jump scene, she tells murtasim he is my classmate, I can meet him.
That's intention behind her action of meeting rohail.
Because according to her, rohail is still her friend. It doesn't change the fact just because he confessed her.
Just like how murtasim still sympathies haya despite knowing she can't take his no as no.

Can you please share the link to share the analysis ?
You are a rockstar G. You make TB so much better than it is. Write a script someday. Your writings and your complex understanding of human psyche needs to be showcased
Neha your analysis is fantastic as well
Do you post them in the episode discussion thread
It will be easier to track it all down
DTs go by too fast and they eventually get lost

I vote for the scene where Merub gave him water. It is under-rated just because chalak Murtu KHAMAKHA MAIN touched Merub's fingers when taking the glass from her 🤣🤣🤣
P.S. The joshanda scene is not under-rated People love it. It already gets well-deserved love.
Their first tea scene is under rated
It is all MM DOUBLE SPEAK
Meeru was cruel with her words and the way she rejects him provoking him is a habit of hers. When he throws her own words back on her face, she is momentarily hurt and stunned, especially when he said she is not good enough for him to marry. Hmmmmmmmmm I guess he was never cruel back to her with his words, he gets angry ofcourse but doesn’t cross the line of deeply wounding her. This was Meeru first lesson watch your mouth girl, yes he has a lot of tolerance towards you, but he has feelings too and you can’t stomp all over his heart and expect him to take it quietly.
He wanted to mean those words but considering how quickly he ran after her in the car, his anger didn’t last long. If he senses she is in danger, his protective mode goes into overdrive and all that matters is her safety. The way he cradles her face his hands, this was a man who had feelings for her, don’t listen to his words look at his actions.
I think it’s very clear that Meerab has kept her meeting and conversations with Rohail a secret from Murtasim. That’s a fact. Whatever her reasons, understandable or not, she has still kept them from him deliberately. He has not done the same with Haya. He has also explained that he does not and will never love Haya. He told her there is nobody else but her. Meerab has not done the same at this point. They go into these situations differently, when talking about their relationship with eachother.
She absolutely went out of her way to meet Rohail at the restaurant! And did so at a time when she wouldn’t even admit to having phone conversations with him to her husband. She could have talked to him on the phone, but she decided to go see him. That in itself would even be ok if she intended to tell her husband. But a girl who’s not even willing to share that she has a phone or talks to her friends, please, that girl is definitely not intending to share that she went to meet with Rohail. You can’t expect respect in a marriage if you are keeping secrets like this and having secret meetings. That’s hypocritical. Call Haya out, but then don’t do similar type of crap.
And she absolutely had a choice to not get into a car of a guy who has professed his love, who has not stopped contacting her despite her clearly telling him, and has the audacity to stop her car and order her out. That is some psycho behavior right there. That is no friend. The taxi driver was ready to help her, because even others reasonably see that this guy is not a decent guy. Maybe she thought it was ok to go with Rohail, but that’s really her bad judgment. He’s shown his psycho behavior already to her. He has already shown that he operates beyond limits. If she doesn’t see that, that’s a real problem with her. I know she didn't intend to meet Rohail b/c that is made clear; her getting out of the car was still idiotic in my opinion given what she now knew about his behavior.
And after that, she still is stupid enough to say, I will meet him if I want, he is my class fellow ? Forget Murtasim, if my daughter said that, I’d say, where did I go wrong that you’re willing to take a stand for that psycho after everything!!!
