If she is actually lying, that too with such conviction and dheet-Panna then I am highly disappointed because may abhi tak at least Kajol ko bohut suchchi aur dil ki saaf Insaan samajhti thi, she looked very honest from whatever one can make out of her overall being.

what I and most people care is if one being a liar or an honest person.

If she would have admitted with no apology about her treatment I guess people would have respected her more, as it's not some big deal

Maybe she is telling the truth, who knows, but it seems very unlikely keeping in mind how much properly dark she was even before starting her career in Bollywood since 1992.

I am actually and genuinely disappointed as I always used to think Kajol is the most honest and transparent person out of all bollywood actresses.. she somehow always seems to me of a transparent heart and someone who will always always speak the truth no matter what.

But sadly here she is coming across a pathological liar just like her contemporary Raveena.

All are LIARS.

Kajol, Deepika, Rani, SRK, Amitabh, Ajay, PC, Rekha etc were all darker shade when they entered industry.

They are lying through their teeth if they claim they never did skin lightening or brightening or bleaching procedures.

Deepika was dark AF even she was 14 and her pic with dad and sister was published in a magazine.

She became white only when she entered BW.

Not going out in sun or taking care of diet or using make up never lightens your skin so much.

But I do know South Asians whose skin tone variance can be very dramatic. Especially here in the Midwest, many of us get super toasty during summer and almost ashen during winter with months of cloudy grey skies.
