When I was young it always irked me how Asher from Humsafar let khirad go in the dead of the night. She went with a truck driver back to hydrabad while injured 😭 any thing could have happened to her. She could have been assaulted or trafficked. He didn't give a shit to check up on her after making so many claims of love.

I was smitten by fawad/Asher and was happy to see the ending. But when the ending came something bothered me soooo much. Some years later I figured out why.

I know I might sound crazy but yeh Meri Dil ki baat hai. I don't know why but I felt like sharing my thoughts on this.

I hated Ashar he did my girl Khairad dirty. She was so pure, so good, so kind he broke her forever. I can never watch humsafar again, the romance feels cold considering what he put her through. What if he never found that letter, SOB?

Same consideration is not for meerab.

Her own parents character assasinate her at the drop of a hat.

In his house he can live as murtasim, but meerab can have peaceful life only if she lives in that house as just murtasim's wife not as meerab.

Knowing murtasim character I don't think he will agree to marry haya. But there are scenes which made me feel he can do it.

That actually makes sense. People who are wicked are singular in their thoughts, there is no scope of growth within them, they won't be deterred from their missions, desires or goals. They are not flawed they are an abomination.

It is good humans who will fail, doubt, question, make mistakes, will be confused. Human are flawed and when life gets in the way we will flip flop because we doubt ourselves, question others, judge the situation wrongly.
