I dont follow YRKKH too much but I know the synopsis and I have watched scenes of the leads there where he apologizes to FL and also owns up to wronging her even to his mother who like Ash turned cuckoo.
So in comparison we can see why Rajan Shahi is a better maker who has hired better writers. Vahaan peh bhi ML has screwed up but his earnestness is so much more when he apologizes. and the FL got better written dialogues
Despite not so great dialogues Ayesha delivered beautifully. but Sai deserved dialogues with more punch.
Comparing ML of YRKKH to V in ghum- V essentially keeps trying to WW himself and blames everyone except himself. His apologies are insincere, generic and meaningless. he lacks conviction. and NB is an utter fail in showing any sincerity, angst, pain, emoting that helplessness of not being able to fix his wrongs to the woman he claims he loves. Neither is his love sincere nor is his apology.
he seems to have gone bonkers and is looking scary now. he looks like a toxic ML personified. and I dunno if thats the brief given to him- that he needs to look dangerous and criminal. because if we are supposed to see this version of him and feel sorry for him then nope! thats not happening! On the contrary, I was thrilled to see P slap him. Thats how much he sucks. Even P slapping him is a cheering moment.
Vanraj shah is a better character than V- atleast he is a decent father and son. V is not even that. So toxic ML ka winner toh V hi hai.
