I checked this scene to get the clarity. I thought that payadaar means start but I read in English Subtitles that paydaar means strong.

'Thappad khake hi tho mohabbat paydaar hothi hai' is the dialogue. It means Getting slapped makes love strong.

There was a scene in Episode 5 where Mariyam tells Haya that because of her one-sided love she got slapped then Haya says that getting slapped makes love strong.
