Well you are ignoring that Virat took 3 catches also apart from scoring 50 faster than Manish Pandey.

And on bowling side .. Siraj spell was also good.

IMHO it was a close one but right decision.

But nonetheless they should have awarded Vijay. Being POTM in his first match would’ve motivated the young player; from net bowler to POTM in debut game would’ve really been an inspiring moment.

IMO Virat & Vijay both played well , I’m happy for both of them just curious to know on what basis management decides who gets POTM in such situations .
