Stages of Merub's sexual awakening:

1. Resistance

Until E20, Merub would get flustered but come back with a tart repartee. Examples include kaan main kyun ghuss rahe ho scene, kaha bhi nahi jaata aur saha bhi nahi jaata scene, baal ko haath kyu lagaya scene.

2. Shy acceptance

E21-E23 really exemplify this. In the lawn date, choori and gajra scenes, she accepts Murtasim's touch, looks shy and gives a coy smile.

3. Exploring/testing power dynamics

E30-E31. Merub gets affected when Murtasim looks at her with his intense bedroom eyes. In E31 after the Rumi-Qalandar-Mansoor line, Murtu looks at her intensely. She is affected - e.g. check the gulps. But in this stage, her response to being affected by Murtu is different - instead of a tart repartee or getting shy, she engages in a game of one-upmanship. She teases him and lays it on really thick in order to get Murtasim worked up instead.

But murtasim ne bhi ab baat apne victory ka bana liya hein! He have been waiting for so long ki aab agar kuch din aur bhi wait kar lena pare to break that stupid contract by Meerub’s own hand he is ready to wait more. He won't give up now...ab yeh sab flirting, inviting seducing kaam nahi karegi. Jab tak woh khud apne haatho se contract paper na phare! Meerub ne aag se khela hein, murtu is the master here! Not meeru...so she's challenging the wrong person here. Murtu will make her lose in this game of her. Tabhi jake uske chein milega! Usne jo tadpa hein iss contract ki wajese, mentally bhi. People hating Murtasim is something which shows that society is not only cruel for women but for men as well. They want Murtasim to become a dog for Meerab which she can use anytime as her shield.

As I said before that,

Murtasim's one mistake = toxic

Meerab's several baseless mistakes= dumbness, defense mechanism, trauma blah, blah, blah. if she would get him killed someday with her stupidity but it will be justified with above reasons, well she is already killing him internally everyday by her over attitude and insensitivity, so doesn't matter if he will die.

At this stage I actually want Murtasim to either leave the country or die, then only other's will feel the importance of his love and respect which he selflessly gives to everyone around.

Not a single person around is sincere with him. His mother forced her son into this marriage, so if now she will regret, it will nowhere undo the damage done to his life and emotions when he literally did nothing to deserve it. 🥺

Yesterday's episode left a bitter taste in me because Murtasim deserves better. 😭 Why is Meerab not asking for divorce? I can't understand this. She should free herself from her apparently and extremely toxic husband. 🤪
