neha we all.know they are building up for a separation track....but what separation??? In what basis??? Kya rishta hein inka? Ki separation track se logon ko utni feel aye??? Unka rishta steel jaisa majbood bohut dur, ek dhaga jaisa majbood bhi na hein ! Murtasim is definitely holding onto that rohail kaand! Heck he's even backing away slowly.....see joh ek effort deta tha ab woh bhi hatne lagega...

Meerub bibi i dunno exactly what she's holding on to still "mere saath jo huya" haan mana meerub bohut bura huya but for god sake girl move on!!! Murtasimke saath nahi iss family ke saath nahi toh akele hi!!! Aise "mere saath jo huya" yeh bar bar bolne se tumhari life thik nahi ho jayegi!!! You gotta sit and decide its been monthss now! Either you chose him and try to give this some chance move ahead or you levae him this toxic place and make your name alag se...stand on your own...but kuch toh kaar behen!!! Kuch toh tu kaar!!! Yeh jo haya haya kar rahey! Haya's biggest weapon is meerasim's dheeli relation. Haya ko acche se pata hein meerub aur murtu ki relation bohut halki hein, thore aise bar se asani se gira sakti hein. Agar yeh dono apne rishte ko dono taraf se thori bhi agey le jaye...yeh faltu haya kuch nahi kar payegi.

( also gotta clear one thing ! yes I'm always joking around on that consummation thing but...even i won't feel happy if they do this consummouton in a pull of situation and not because of love now. Coz that's the reason writer delayed that thing in first place thats the reason we have came thissss far waiting for it....)

@bold - you know there’s a lot of feelings in both sides but they have a very flimsy relationship. It’s based purely on attraction. You can bring out your pitchforks and knives but it’s true- they have no communication and they have no clue about what the other wants. They have major trust issues. Meeru is definitely attracted to MK and MK is in love- but with what? His biwi undiluted or a refined version of Meerab..

And that’s why I was happy that she brought up the mismatched line- they need to talk and they to work through this and come to a middle ground.

Why do you think we are mismatched? Do you think you can adjust to our mindset?
Meeru could say these are things bothering me- talk to me, take my opinions etc study if she wants to

instead of the anus drama- these three episodes could be a relationship mending stuff but no!! We need the Anus trio 🤯

Meerab has accepted him I think. She acts like she’s finally settling in this marriage but - I don’t know with this writer- she will probably do a flip next episode

I know I don’t want consummation like this. I would be disappointed if one day Meeru is like I want you.. iif worse it’s a mistake one night

Mariyam thing flared up all old wounds and her feelings are all over the place !
She expected him to say all correct things but totally forgot he is in dark about Mariyam and Rohail thing is still fresh in his mind!

Am scared but She will be on her own from now on!

1) why does this show continue to glorify forced marriages? Have you noticed that Nourez was allowed to back from the marriage because he doesn’t like Haya but Maryam/Haya aren’t given the option too?

2) Why is Meeru’s realization being pushed back? I can understand that they can’t consummate during Ramadan - but why couldn’t she have her slowly falling for him and missing him as he is sidelining her for now. The last two episodes could still be entertaining if Meerab had been flustered instead of flirty-

for eh: she could have pulled his hand to distract him but when he makes bedroom eyes at her, she could have gotten affected affected and the entire dialogue could have been more softer and sweet than flirty. She got been flustered when he calls her his biwi.

And through out the bedroom scene( which I loved) I would have liked a shot that his eyes were flustering her and she blushed and moved away..

I think a major gripe of the audience and why they are hating on Meeru is because they want the love story to progress and it’s not. Showing some feelings from her side would bring back many audience. I know many in DT who are or have lost interest because they believe M is never gonna change.

The writer is an idiot. Love story requires an etched out FL - but M is written inconsistently episode to episode and how it’s high time we connect with her feelings.

I am losing connect because we are in a loop as far as MM relationship is and I don’t feel excited because whatever happens the loop is intact

Mahi that is a very good point. What is the point of separation track when there is nothing worth separating. Even Murtasim is at the stage like yeah you want to leave then just please leave, but stop talking shit because I can't it anymore. I think he can deal with no love from her side right now, just Meerab please stay silent darling because her Meerabish is killing him.

An over-thought philosophical answer is that her response could differ depending on where she is on her sexual awakening journey.

Stages of Merub's sexual awakening:

1. Resistance

Until E20, Merub would get flustered but come back with a tart repartee. Examples include kaan main kyun ghuss rahe ho scene, kaha bhi nahi jaata aur saha bhi nahi jaata scene, baal ko haath kyu lagaya scene.

2. Shy acceptance

E21-E23 really exemplify this. In the lawn date, choori and gajra scenes, she accepts Murtasim's touch, looks shy and gives a coy smile.

3. Exploring/testing power dynamics

E30-E31. Merub gets affected when Murtasim looks at her with his intense bedroom eyes. In E31 after the Rumi-Qalandar-Mansoor line, Murtu looks at her intensely. She is affected - e.g. check the gulps. But in this stage, her response to being affected by Murtu is different - instead of a tart repartee or getting shy, she engages in a game of one-upmanship. She teases him and lays it on really thick in order to get Murtasim worked up instead.

Aage ke stages to future episodes dekh kar hi deduce hongi.

A more facetious explanation of why Meeru was flirty/seductive and not sweet/shy:

After 30 episodes, maybe Merub main bhi full aag lagi hui hai [i mean just effin' look at Murtasim bandi kab tak bardasht kare] but Meeru has too much ego to be the one who concedes [remember Murtasim's line keh yaa main jeet jaonga ya woh haar jayegi]. Maybe her plan now is to work up Murtu so damn much keh woh banda khud hi meeru ko bole ke mujhe maaro ya contract phaaro 🤣
