But don't see her telling he asks for chai at night

If she doesn't care, she won't care to remember him asking tea at night

I know people have jokingly said that Haya is the main character of the show, Meerab’s character receives subpar treatment etc., but today I realllly felt it. It really hit me.

The scene that made this point visually clear was the one between Ma Begam and Maryam, where Ma Begam says that she’s refused Nourez’s proposal for Maryam. Meerab was in the background in that scene, but I actually felt that Yumna was in the background. Her smile and acting was off and awkward, kind of like I could see Yumna thinking…what should i be doing here…act happy etc. I’m not saying that’s her fault; rather, I think it’s the way they wrote her character in the scene. It was very strange. She is the FL, even in scenes where she is not the main track, she should be given better dialogues and direction there. Wahaj always gets a presence, even when he’s not the main point of the scene.

THIS SCENE WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT if they showed more of Meerab’s reaction. If she was feeling happy, then really focus on her happiness, don’t relegate her to the background; she is the FL. Or, they could have taken this opportunity to make us feel bad for her, showing her missing out on the proper love of a mom etc. Just something, other than relegating her to the back of a scene.

Meanwhile, Haya was evvvvvverywhere and everything. Why are we watching Sabeena so much (no offense) ? We did not sign up for this…the OST’s didn’t show her this much…we were not ready for this. What a disappointment, but also what a waste of time. I mean we thought we were rid of her, and she came right back with that horrid laughing IN OUR FACE. It’s as if the show is for Sabeena to give an emerging actress screen space and for her develop her talent, as opposed to us enjoying our leads. Which we wanted in the first place.

I too am shocked at the screen time Sabeena gets compared to Yumna and Wahaj.

This is very common in ekta shows, she loves her villains, difference being she does do some fantastic villains. Sabeena nor her character has the gravitas to hold your attention for too long Sorry. Wahaj said one line in the previous episode that was all it took to sell that episode. This is where Humsafar succeeded where all the other romantic shows failed, spotlight was always on Mahira and Fawad.

Murtaims and Meerab are fantastic complex characters you could create a whole episode with just them talking about their life but noooooooo we can't have that can we.

She knows exactly what he drinks, when he drinks it, how he drinks it

That was not where she went wrong here

I ordered these two (black and light mint/paste one , 2nd and 3rd pic) ! Two are costing me more than 25k bdt ! With shipping weight and all. That chicken kari cotton one is more expensive than the black one 🤧🤧🤧 also couldn't find that levender (1st pic) one....its out of stock, as its from last year's eid collection!!!!
