She gave valid reason that Mariyam is a person and she has her choice. And also she explained very well during the tea scene about their situation and also told that she doesn't want others to be in a situation like them.

He did say that Maryam is her daughter and so she will decide

I meantioned toxic PARTNER not toxic person.

There is a huge difference.

She got caged post marriage, got slapped, got attacked physically, the family including her husband didn't say single thing to the person who tried to kill her, her husband don't feel the need to take her opinion into consideration when she expresses something (nyla and current track), she had to jump to prove her character. Still he doesn't trust her fully (insecurity).

Her mother in law leaves no chance to taunt her. Every person in the house treats her as just izzat.

Despite everything she don't want another woman to go through what she went through. Even if that person is haya.

She wants to help mariyum at the same stopping her from taking wrong decisions like eloping.

Maa begum didn't even took a second to blame meerab when mariyum denied for marriage. When it is because of same meerab, her daughter still is in her house instead of eloping.

But she is toxic. If being rude, insensitive or whatever makes one toxic.

Then how the actions like slap, asking wife to jump, using a woman to set scores with enemy, not considering sister consent in marriage r non toxic traits.

I don't understand her.

Her charcter was never defined at start.

And even after 32 episodes there is nothing substantial to back her actions,dialogues anything.

She is like the most ignored character of this show.

Haya had much better charcater description than her.

More detailing and insight.

Thats why I have no interest in this show,this love story.

I came to.roam around got stuck.

Honestly speaking i didn't watched episodes since last 2 weeks.

Just clips here and there

So IDK what she had planned.

I don't think many episodes left

So there is no time also now to show any development or anything.

These episodes destroyed its re watch also for me.
