Can someone tell me why is Murtasim not taking Meerab seriously?

She gave valid reason that Mariyam is a person and she has her choice. And also she explained very well during the tea scene about their situation and also told that she doesn't want others to be in a situation like them.

Meana agar woh chup hein, aur rohail ko kuch keh nahi raha hein toh sirf meeeub ke khatir...as he didn't wanna make any tamasha of her there, or he didn't wanna make her angry or hurt by doing something bad with them. As they are her frnds.

Tumhari parwa karti hun, tum inse jeyada ho, tabhi chup karke seh rahi hun tumhari khatir... so you better make them stop .
